Welcome to America’s Most Beautiful Industrial Park
Design Guidelines
Ferncliff is an industrial park that promotes quality, stewardship, sustainable job creation, and the most current development and operational Best Practices (BMP’s).
To ensure this outcome, Design Guidelines were created that established specific performance requirements and qualities that guided the design and implementation of each development project is part of Ferncliff Park.
The Ferncliff site presented a unique opportunity to marry development with the site’s natural beauty. The site is heavily treed and has rolling topography of varying steepness. There are several springs and wetlands on the property, and it is bordered by the French Broad River.
Given its existing condition and location along the river, the development of the project carried with it the responsibility to manage development impacts so that water quality was maintained, so valuable habitat was preserved; and so that the rural quality of the region was maintained.
